Europeans to my understanding are more accepting of sex than violence. I think if it were not a "gay" charachter than the age thing would not be an issue.
That is true. I went to Spain this past June, and there were some, well, interesting advertisements.
One of the hotels I stayed at had decent cable and I saw some sexual commercials for normal products. I found it odd.
Spain legalized same-sex marriage a few years ago, they've come a long way since the Inquisition.
