He was trying to do Borat-like satirizing of the town of Grimsby while mixing it with a realistic spy action thriller. It failed hugely, the different DNAs didn't mix. I was sick of Cohen's stupid character 30 minutes in, how unrealistic he was acting with all the obvious things happening around him. Hugging his brother when he was trying to carefully sharpshoot someone, ignoring the fact he was drowning in a car just because the TV with the football match went out, and so on.

Sacha Baron Cohen always plays Sacha Baron Cohen. Or Borat.
