The Red Viper's Fighting Style

Any information on the Red Viper's fighting style, as displayed on the show? I remember Pedro Pascal commenting in an interview that he practiced (with the spear?) in his apartment, too shy to learn on the job in public.

I was really impressed with Pedro's work during the fight with the Mountain, especially his display of handling the spear for the crowd at the beginning of the trial by combat.

Was this modeled after one discipline of fighting style, or a combination? When Oberyn was doing consecutive side-leaps* to make distance between him and the Mountain, that was so cool that I don't even know if it was even a truly practical move.

I don't know how many of the scenes used a stunt double for Pedro, but Pascal definitely did his part to sell his character's fighting expertise.
