Why is he not getting Movie Roles.

Reading the messages on this board, I guess its just me that finds him very entertaining.

I think he is a good actor.
People write that he is stiff and always the same.

Okay that's his bag.
I love his movies.

He’s far removed from his peak years in popularity.

He can really do only action films. He can’t really handle romance, comedy, drama.

WWE films have a stigma, and seeing a WWE wrestler not named The Rock automatically repels many people

Because you'll never watch him and not see Stone Cold. It doesn't help that his look is completely limited with the bald head and goatee. He's not exactly a character actor.

Neither will The Rock though. He's pretty one note too, just more suited towards the movie industry.

I'm not sure he's as committed to big movie roles. He does his own podcastings and has a show with the WWE network. He seems content with that.
