The Coldest Actor to EVER Stand Before a TV/Movie Camera

I've never particularly liked this actor, despite his obvious abilities. No matter the role,
no matter the show, or movie, the man looks as though he was BORN in a bad mood.
He really turns me off, and I will actually get bummed when I tune into an old show
("The Alfred Hitchcock Hour", "Big Valley", etc.) and see he's guest-starring. He's just
so SOUR, and it seems this was his only way of approaching a role. He isn't just solemn;
he's CRABBY!

I do enjoy his turn as the lead Ebonite in The Outer Limits' ep "Nightmare." But his makeup
is so superb (and scary!), and his voice so disguised that one really doesn't recognize him
unless one realizes it's him in the role.

He was also good as the used car salesman in "Psycho", but for the most part, I just find
this actor extremely unpleasant to watch.

I also read some nasty comments he made towards "Outer Limits' fans, so maybe that
colors my opinion of him. It's possible he was quite gregarious in real life. But I highly
doubt it.
