The right role for this girl + bam OSCAR!
Seriously, she has such the ability and needs the right role for her to be that big of an actress, I very much doubt I'm not the only one that thinks that.

I hope she gets a good role where she can shine

agreed, Lauren is incredibly talented
shareBeautiful woman, enormously talented ... I agree ...given the right movie role she would be a big star.
But you ARE Blanche ... and I AM.
I agree. Amazing potential. I saw her on Broadway last night in the play, Exit the King and she was fantastic, maybe she is focusing on that for a bit? Also on a seperate note Susan Sarandon also starred and was unbelievable. Cheers.
Stay Gold Ponyboy, Stay Gold.
Aren't you forgetting the great Geoffrey Rush??? (Insert Australian indignation)

I still can't believe she never walked away with an Emmy or a Golden Globe for her role as Claire Fisher.
She's one of the best young actresses out there and one of my favourites over-all.
ROCK STARS HAVE KIDNAPPED MY SON
See the excellent little seen or heard of film "Starting out in the Evening" w/Frank Langella. Reminded me much of "The Station Agent" & the absolutely superb "The Visitor." The acting & the story are excellent buy not for those who need things to blow up & can't stand character development. It also has a supporting role of Indie-queen also in "Six Feet Under" as Peter Krause' wife (why isn't she in bigger roles?) Lili Taylor. If you like Lauren Ambrose, the film really showcases her ability even more. Just a suggestion & Langella is better in it than he was in his Oscar nominated role for "Frost/Nixon."
