How Kate could stay alive?

Excuse me,but that's impossible-NCIS is not a soap opera-this is a real life show and I don't think the viewers will be glad to see Kate again alive.Maybe only like a memory or ghost.

Kate can't be alive, that would distroy the integrity of every character on the show. All emotions shown after her death would have been a lie. Her character had a great send off and will be remembered as a hero that gave her life for her country.

I am interested in hearing other ideas on how Kate could stay alive. I agree that coming back as a ghost is a good idea start... I could just see Kate's ghost tormenting Tony... so, what other ideas does anyone have?

I never got to see the first three seasons while they were being aired, but i just finished watching on DVD the episodes where Kate died and the NCIS team went after Ari, where the team was remembering Kate and trying to get past her death. It was hard, it's always hard losing a beloved character. It made me sad. Especially cause Tony and Caitlin's relationship was just starting to really develop.

But as much as I'd really love to see Caitlin Todd back, if she came back as anything other than a dream or flashback or something to that effect, I agree that it would violate the realness feeling that is one of NCIS' best qualities. If they can find a way to make it work though, they'd better do it. I'm just starting the third season on DVD but I already miss her character.

No with the Ghosts. This is NCIS, not X-Files. If she were to come back, it would only be as a memory. Putting her "Ghost" into it would ruin this Series as it's based on Science and Logic, not the paranormal.
