I mean if she was playing a American character, not a terrorist wife or a woman form middle-east, would Americans be offended? Do they like non-American actors playing American characters? especially Iranians and mid-easterners?

Her accent is rather thick but I think there are plenty of roles she can pull off well. Any thing futureistic can run almost sny accent.
