What kind of idiot you need to be to choose Affleck over Adkins

I know that Scott lacks of charm for a Batman role, but if I'd have to choose between Ben Affleck and him, I would choose him. Because for once, we could have seen awesome stunts, but instead they keep giving Batman roles to someone who barely can raise a hand in combat. Both Christian Bale and Michael Keaton (I'll ignore other Batmen in sequels) were great, but they lack of combat skills. Fights in The Dark Knight trilogy were not interesting. I have a respect to the dramatic and inspirational story, but atleast Bale could have performed some better fight stunts. And they could have achieved so much with this guy as a Batman, who wouldn't want to see Adkins kicking some asses as a dark knight? Everyone has it's taste, but I personally think everyone who refuses to see this guy as Batman has issues. Has no potential charm, but he's an actor. I'm sure he would learn some interesting lines and gestures if he has to. For Christ sake, Nolan is producing it.. who wouldn't want to give it's best to make it happen.. And the thought that Affleck is playing Batman is ridiculous. I even saw few trailers movie had, he looked completely non-interesting in the trailer, I could barely sympathize with him, which led me to the conclusion that Henry Cavill is more interesting, after all BvS is in same universe as Man of Steel is. But, I'll not bother with it too much, some things make no sense to me in that movie, therefore I won't watch it. Maybe if Scott Adkins was in, I would tolerate the movie. Adkins even has visual resemblance to Ben Affleck, which is kind of funny to me as he could have taken his role.

Agreed.

I am a big Scott Adkins fan, but I think you are being a bit unrealistic. The producers were looking for a big name actor, which i'm afraid Scott Adkins isn't. I doubt that his name alone would be enough of a selling point. Secondly it doesn't really matter that Affleck can't do as much in the suit as Adkins could, as more than likely it will be a stunt man used for most of the action scenes. This would probably still be the case even if Adkins got the part.

The producers have also said they wanted Batman to look imposing, which at 5 foot 10, Adkins unfortunately isn't. Also Nolan isn't producing this movie as he did with Man of Steel.

Agreed. And I have to admit that the trailers so far look promising, with Affleck as Wayne/Batman.

Suggestions?

Agreed. Adkins needs to build his resume. He needs to do cool supporting roles and pick up acting tips.
