There's something about her that strikes me as an everywoman - I don't think she looks great on camera - her eyes are big but sort of weak and nothing stands out to me as gorgeous. I guess she's a wonderful person to work with though, as she keeps getting huge roles :)

My experience watching her has been the same every time: I cheer for her. I feel for her. She is probably my favorite actress at the moment.
I love that she seems so intelligent and empathetic at the same time. She is strong yet vulnerable. (like a real human being... amazing how much skill it takes to portray just that.)
I really, really love her acting. Wish there were more like her in films today. Often actresses have these roles as either intelligent (but cold), caring (but not very smart) or sexy (and maybe slightly smart.. but also slightly forgettable.)
So obviously I think she is very charismatic.
Adams actually reminds me of some '40s era actress (probably because I saw in a period film where she was really good---can't recall the name, though) and she also has what used to be called girl-next door looks---fresh and clean-cut, beautiful in a down-to earth way, and all that. I've only seen a couple of her films,and she does have a fresh presence,and is likable. Id have to see more of her films to make a definite statement on her acting,though.
