Hi Gemini!

As far as I know, he has played "Daniel "Danny" Kaffee" in the theatrical version of "A Few Good Men". There has even been an audio of the play circulating the board, but I can't remember the thread where the link was kindly provided. I have heard said audio and just by his voice I could tell that he did a brilliant job. If he considers other roles, expressed interest or been suggested for a play...that I don't know. With the current schedule for Spn it would be impossible for him to arrange anything.

I think he's adorable!

I think spnfan went to see A Few Good Men. She can tell you about that. But by all reports I've seen, he did an excellent job. (He played opposite Lou Diamond Philip, which is pretty cool.)

What Jensen has said about theater is that given the choice of doing TV, film, or theater, theater is his 3rd choice, because it's a lot of work for not a lot of money. Film is his second choice (once you're done with a film, you're unemployed again), with TV (specifically TV comedy) being his first choice.

He also did a bit of theater in high school.

I would LOVE to see him in a play. Somewhere in one of the threads discussing roles, a few of us have mentioned stage roles we'd like to see him in.

I seem to recall seeing/reading an interview with Jared about going to see AFGM, and he said he was talking about how nervous he was for Jensen because there were no re-takes, you couldn't start a scene over if you messed up. He was very proud of his friend.

As lenio said, Jensen did do a play, "A Few Good Men" and he played the lead role Daniel Kaffee (the role Tom Cruise played in the movie of the same name).

That role is on stage for almost the entire play and had a tremendous amount of pages of lines.

Jensen did an amazing job!!!!

It was a spur of the moment thing for me to do, to go to the play, and it was one of the best spontaneous things I've ever done!

I just checked and it looks like all the threads talking about the play have timed out, which means all the links (pictures, interviews, reviews, etc.) are gone.

As lenio said, some enterprising person made an audio tape of the play, I'll see if I can find that link again and I'll post it here.

I really like Lou Diamond Philips and I now I wish I had taken a bus out to Texas to see Jensen and Lou on stage together. Jensen got very good reviews about his stage presence and performance.

Jensen can do comedy. I've seen his early work on Mr. Rhodes.

@ Beowulfxox - I thought the play was very well acted by everyone, LDP had the unfortunate task of taking on the role Jack Nicholson made his own, but LDP did a really good job.

I thought Jensen did an amazing job as Kaffee and I have to admit, when I see the movie on TV, I see Jensen, not Tom Cruise anymore.

I went to see the play on Saturday, and since there were two performances that day, I decided to go see both, since I knew I'd probably miss stuff in the first performance that I could catch in the second performance. Since it was pretty much a last minute decision for me to attend any performance, my seats weren't great, but in that size of a theater, there really weren't any "bad" seats.

I was very impressed with the production, but especially with Jensen. This was his first play since high school and what a play to pick, considering how much time on stage and how much dialogue he had.

I would love for him to do another play, maybe some summer stock or something short-term like "A Few Good Men" was.
