Check out her work for Joss Whedon - she's glorious as Beatrice in "Much Ado About Nothing," (which film, IMO, kicks Kenneth Branagh's ass) she's astonishing in "Dollhouse" - many have opined that she'd have been better than Eliza Dushku in the lead, and I concur - except then we'd lose the marvelous scenes she did give us.
A very beautiful woman, certainly, and Whedon has called her "the best actress I've ever worked with," which is saying a lot.
Oh, right. So, she secretly trained a flock of sandflies.
