Has he ever addressed...

His suicide attempt? I feel it would be great if he would speak out about mental illness etc. I haven't heard of anything from him addressing what happened or anything etc.? I find it weird it's never been spoken about, just swept under the rug? This is actually a big problem in society, these things are never spoken about - just swept under the rug and move on. I understand it's obviously a very painful and personal thing for him, but I think it would be fantastic if he gave an interview addressing these issues and perhaps let people know they're not alone, it can happen to anyone - even a mega-successful movie star!

I don't actually think it would help society. It's a nice idea that it would, but it wouldn't.

I don't blame him for not pimping the incident. The tabloid media would just have a field day with it, some being accusatory and judgmental and others being maudlin and condescending. But that would be it.

He seems like a substantive guy, despite what may have happened. And he doesn't seem the type to want to later drag this thru the magazines and TV again.

I don't think he needs to and I don't think the term "swept under the rug" applies at all. He will have dealt with it personally, amongst his family and friends, just because he's famous and hasn't spoken publicly about it doesn't mean he has "swept it under the carpet", I don't blame him at all for keeping it private, its far too personal. He has spoken/mentioned several times aobut his up/down personality and his depressive tendencies but I really don't think he needs to have this lowest point in his life displayed out there for the media and public.
I agree with the previous poster, to put it out there in an interview would mean to have the whole thing picked apart positively and negatively by all (media and public alike) and it you're in a fragile state of mind that last thing you need is your darkest moment analysed by everyone.

I thought rumor had it that it was over Kate Hudson? It was around the same time they broke up.

You think money is everything in life? Or that people with money can't have legitimate depression?

reply

I think he was taking a bunch of drugs like Oxycodone which probably made him depressed.

He was on shrooms and thought he was his younge brother Luke cause Mcconahey called him that when he left his apartment by accident. So it was just a case of mistaken identify. And he like thinks his brother is like the very unsuccessful version of himself lol

Ignore him. He's an idiot. He obviously can't think on any sort of deep level.

Don't like what I'm saying? Then call 1800-Ima-CryBaby and ask for Waaaaaa.
