Did you actually read the news reports? No, he did not get 23 years "just for sexual harassment." He was convicted to 20 years for "a criminal sexual act" plus 3 years for rape in the third degree. He was acquitted of charges of "predatory sexual assault" and first-degree rape which could have imprisoned him for life.
shareDid you actually read the transcripts of the testimony the women he was found guilty of raping gave? Sorry but there is no way any reasonable person would have found him guilty of actual rape. A woman that is raped isn't going to bring her rapist to meet her parents. The whole thing was bullshit based on Harvey being a creepy old fuck that managed to become the poster boy for sexual harassment. Frankly there are real rapist that have raped kids that didn't get as long a sentence as he did.

There are a lot of ignorant, vile people who have been whipped up into a frenzy about Weinstein (some of it based on antisemitic tropes popular a century ago) because the Establishment media has told them he is a grotesque monster, but this man got nothing even remotely resembling a fair trial and I hope he's able to hire some Grade A lawyers to appeal his case especially now that the #MeToo "movement" is imploding alongside the more primal concerns of life and death during a raging pandemic. Even the New York Times is abandoning the fraudulent pseudo-progressivism of the despicable #MeToo malarkey.

Testimony of paid shill is more accurate. I have been on defense cases for many cases and the sad fact is I could find an expert witness to testify that the sun rose in the east. Expert witnesses are the biggest sham in court cases because idiots like yourself will believe all they say even when it is bullshit.
