a relic of a time long past..

Harveys downfall/sentencing was like the last big thing to happen b4 the covid crisis which has dominated and belittled everything else so even #metoo seems like something from yesterday and unimportant (makes you wonder what would've happened to Harvey had his trial been delayed.. a lesser sentence?) .. and now Harvey is long forgotten.. a relic of a time long past... I imagine him in his cell banging on his cell door demanding to be let out in that familiar Noo Yoik bellow .. but theres no one there.. everyones home in lockdown.. and so is Harvey.. he's finally home..

reply

see.. ppl don't even remember you now harvey..

reply

Nah people still talks about him and about other things in the world. People are actually tired of the Corona-Show,its already something from the past.

reply

now BLM is here Harvey is all but forgotten - nothing more than a relic from a deleted timeline (except the news story of him having no balls)

reply

What else are we meant to talk about? He's in jail, what more do you want.

reply

Man is an immortal legend. The sleazy couch casting producer of Hollywood has always been a faceless boogeyman of the industry, but now it's Harvey forever.

perfect

What he did to women still goes on in every facet of human society (Western and Eastern Cultures).

Do they have what it takes to succeed? If it's their best option, should it be taken away from them?

... still banging on his cell door, Harvey roars in that familiar Queens accent: 'LEMME OUTTA HERE! DONT YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!' ..

Only silence responds ..

he starts pounding the door with his fists. He starts screaming "WHY! WHY! WHY! WHY!.. " repeated over and over like a mantra

Finally Harvey slumps to the cell floor exhausted, his fists all bloodied .. he starts weep.. the weeping gets louder turning in to full on bawling

Outside the cell door the prison guard continues to read his copy of todays newspaper..he searches the TV listing for what to watch tonight.. his pen hovers over several choices , before finally circling 'Pulp Fiction'..

reply

as Harvey cries himself to sleep at night (every night) the nightwatchman watches in the little window in the celldoor.. he watches as Harveys sizable bulk under the thin blacket moves in tandem with the weeping.. the dull groaning of emotional agony.. the occasional 'no.. no..no-oh-oh.' interspersed with gentle soft crying,.until finally silence.. as Harvey descends into a welcoming sleep ..where he can dream its the 90s once again and he's the king of Hollywood..

reply

harvey spent years abusing the power he had accumulated.. his quest for dominance ... but. in the end.. it destroyed him and his company...
