EXCLUSIVE: The former Friends star is getting behind the camera for her feature directorial debut with Hello I Must Be Going. Written by David Flebotte, the Courteney Cox helmed pic has Seann William Scott in the lead role as Ted Morgan, a depressed man who heads back to his hometown to right some wrongs before committing suicide. Former Private Practice actress Kate Walsh co-stars as his sister-in-law Kathleen Morgan in the movie. A co-EP on Desperate Housewives, Flebotte has written for HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and served as a consulting producer on Raising Hope. The star of that Fox comedy Garret Dillahunt and former Daily Show correspondent and Internship actor Rob Riggle are also in the cast of Hello I Must Be Going. While this is Cox’s first feature, she previously directed episodes of her TBS sitcom Cougar Town and the 2012 Lifetime TV movie Talhotblond. Hello I Must Be Going is produced by Cox, David Arquette and Thea Mann’s Coquette Productions with Gabriel Cowan, John Suits and Anders Bard. The movie is set to start filming in LA later this month.
