I have seen him making the rounds on the talk shows with his lady love and saying that the most important person in the marriage,the one whom the focus should be on is the woman.I just have one question:
Why?
The focus for what?? To be the object of affection or to shoulder the bulk of responsibility..can't respond til I know what we're talking about.

shareMaybe not the way I would want it done but whatever works for them you know? But you're not wrong. The religious point of view says that she should probably answer the same way. So each of them holds the other in their highest esteem. Then the balance would work. Luck to them.
shareYou're seeing his statement as a 3rd party. Everyone should be more important to you than yourself. You take your ego out of the equation. By that logic, the most important person in your life would be the one with whom you choose to spend the rest of your life with. Simple.
