My sister and I both have met her

I met Lily Tomlin almost 20 years ago when I was 16, in Escondido CA, working at Del Taco (love high school jobs). She was going through the drive thru and the car ahead of her had a black lab in it. We kept dog treats under the counter for the customers with canines. After the car left and she pulled up, she leaned out the window and asked, "Can I have a Milk Bone too?" I didn't even recognize her until she left--I just laughed and said, "No, we save those for really ugly people." She laughed at that one!

My sister met her a few years ago in San Diego when she worked at the Marriott. She helped carry her bags to her room (my sis knew who she was). Lily thanked her and said, "Aren't you a Sweetheart!" and gave her a good tip. I have to say, Lily is as charming and funny in person as she is in real life. A truly gifted entertainer and a VERY down-to-earth person.
