They haven't talked in a long time. I wonder how it'd be if they ran into each other again. I still think he harbors some feelings for her- he still talks about her from time to time and it's odd.

No, I think he said in an interview that they hadn't spoken in like 9 years or so. I think they stopped talking after the breakup back in 2002. They might of had a few attempted friendly chats for a bit but I think that rumor has it that they haven't spoken to each other since 2003.

I don't think they would ever be friends. They might be friendly to each other if they ever come across each other but I strongly doubt that they could ever be friends.
