i don't like it.
as an album cut it might be better, but as a single i think it's tooooo laid back and it feels like a "Justified" throwback.

shareI don't like it all that much either lol. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a really good song and all but I, like you, think it's too laid back as well. But I guess it makes for a good Summer song just like Summer Love did in 2007.

I was thinking of MJ too when I heard it. I love it. It's very catchy, couldn't get it outbid my head for a few days.

Actually it's not. He said originally they were all going to be like that but he felt that he should give us new music not left overs so he took over only 3 songs from the first half of the album and went back to record all new songs for the second album after he finished the original two halves.
EDIT
I just read what he said he again, and it was actually his friend that said that he wasn't happy with it like that so he went back to record additional songs after the first two were done to put on the second half of the record. So there are some songs that he originally recorded for the two albums then some more songs that are mixed in that he recorded additionally.
