Was he in SteppingStone Theatre company?

I remember reading something about him being in SteppingStone Theatre when he was a kid (youth theatre in Minnesota), but Google reveals nothing to me.
I'm around the same age and was in the SST - the curious part of me wonders if we crossed paths.
