In general, yes, hard to be against your opinion. I remember, though, that he was initially very well rated by producers (many wanting to make another movie with him once they did a first one), and that he moved toward "secrecy" because he didn't want to become over-exposed (and probably because doing so movss closer to his natural tendency), so how can you be in a top 10 or top 100 list if you avoid publicity?... decide to break with Universal Studio (early opportunities that it seems that he let pass), make indies movies, and so, ended by being known because of one character (or character type)?

Underrated, yes, but it fits the man will (or lack of competivity, or something similar, can't tell for sure, I don't know the guy... a very complex one, and very interesting one too, from what I see from here). I would type him as a genius, border line to be bi-polar (can disconnect himself, but also great observer. Also the kind to be with over-reaction about what others would see as minor facts, such as excusing himself about almost anything he does, but behaving with the same excessive, extreme, standard and so, himself, easily offended, just like a shark, a nickname he got in Cottage Groove), to who great results occur (apparently) just too easily, so that he lacks perseverence, but able of extreme perseverence if cornered.

Underrated does not mean not interesting type, far from that.

I think Andy Roddick and he look like similar dorks.
