What an effing moron!

She was on The Colbert Report and he said “do svidaniya” (до свидания) which is Russian for “Goodbye” to her. She didn’t even know what it meant and she plays a RUSSIAN DEEP COVER SPY on television.

How effing sad.
At least pretend that you aren’t a moronic actress, Ms. Russell.

She isn't ACTUALLY a Russian spy, you know.

I doubt she is f-cking fluent in the language.

Yeah…I got that.
However, “Goodbye” in any language should be one the first things an actor would (and should learn) if it’s part of the role that they are playing.

From the interview, she didn’t even seem to be ”fluent” in English.

I figured she pretended not to know what it meant, because Stephen was obviously baiting.

However the further interview was really awkward seeing how she only had about two articulate responses. I haven't seen other interviews with her, but if you have to call her a moron certainly not because of not knowing what do svidanya means..

reply

Yeah, I watch The Colbert Report every night and I don't usually think "wow, that was a bad interview." At least she seemed nice though.

I don't know how you can appreciate a show like The Colbert Report if this went over your head. First Stephen mentions testing her to make sure she wasn't a spy in a Keri Russell mask (because she plays a Russian spy on TV). So then he speaks Russian to her, you know to try and trap her if she is a spy (because she plays a Russian spy on TV). She plays along with the joke by saying she doesn't know what it means.

Signatures are stupid.

reply

You expect her to GIVE HERSELF AWAY ON LIVE TV?

She's way too cunning to fall for that rookie trick.

stfu about fking avatars already.

reply

I'm sorry, but how does that make her a moronic actress??

reply

I think you did not get the joke of the "interview" which was that he was trying to catch her as a secret Russian. So, the joke doesn't really work if he catches her because she knows Russian.

Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm reader.
