What happened to The Gamekeeper?

I hadn't thought about it in a while. Going through some of my comics, I found the #1 issue and remembered I had heard Ritchie was going to adapt it. Did this just get forgotten after Sherlock? Was this ever even a possibility? I could be totally wrong, but I swear I read he wrote it as sort of a pre-script-pitch type deal...
