I do think that Mr Richie is wee bit gay, his movies are always homoerotic, think about it:

1. Lock Stock - No female parts at all
2. Snatch - Again no female parts and Brad Pitt boxing without his shirt
3. RocknRolla - More guys without shirts fighting ( Russian chasing after Gerard Butler ) a little bit of potential gay love between two characters ( Handsome Bob and One Two ) and Gerard Butler being tied to a bed by the Russian gangsters ready for xxxx
4. Films scenes with Rachael McAdams in her underwear for Sherlock Holmes but then removes them from the final film and we have another boxing match this time with Downey Jnr and no top...

its all bit a homoerotic...

I think you raise some good points.

bit of sexual tension between watson and sherlock throughout the film as well.

as for that last post, fight club was written by Chuck Palahniuk (a totally gay dude).

M cant stand rupert and has cut him off.

Guy is a bit homophobic if you ask me although there maybe reasons behind it.
