There would be no gay ritchie without Quentin Tarantino. Ritchie is the british and less talented knockoff of Tarantino. Quentin is the full package deal. He can direct, write, produce and act. And he's American. And he had nothing to do with Swept Away. And he didn't marry Madonna.

I'm not saying Ritchie is a terrible director. He's just not in the same class as QT when it comes down to overall quality in his films.

No way! I reckon Ritchie's movies are funnier and I love his style. And he can direct, write and produce, and I don't particularly love Tarantino's acting. And Ritchie is British. How does Tarantino's being American make him better? O_o
But Tarantino is talented, I'll give you that. I just prefer Ritchie - he has a class of his own!

I like most of GR's movies. But QT has changed the movie landscape. GR has not and so-so blockbusters like Sherlock Holmes which is the direction he seems to be heading towards can only erode his standing further.

Also, GR made 'Swept Away'... one of the all time worst movies. QT has not made anything that can be even remotely compared to that turkey.

This is such a *beep* arguement!

Guy Ritchie is a COMPLETELY different director to Tarantino. Guy is gritty and raw, while Quentin is flashy and gory.

And sweetheart...most of the world loves British more...no...pretty much loves anyone who is not American more! And Quentin is a *beep* actor...pretending otherwise should embarrass you.

Guy is just Guy, he doesn't put on a slimy ego all the time like Tarantino does and his movies are mostly real. Lock, Stock; Snatch and RocknRolla are beyond brilliant movies that are so rich in exploring Ritchie's experiences of London and of a different kind of British life.

Don't get me wrong, I think Quentin is a brilliant director and writer... but I would 100x more rather sit down and rewatch one of the three Ritchie movies I mentioned than frequenting any of Tarantino's movies without a year or two goinf by first.

Again, I think it's just stupid to compare them.

Oh please, don't say anything if you don't know enough to do so.

Guy Ritchie does a completely different work as a writer/director from Quentin Tarantino.

Guy Ritchie focuses on Crime while Quentin Tarantino focuses on American Crime, two completely different subjects.

Back to the topic, who's the better? I can't believe I am saying this but Guy Ritchie. Quentin Tarantino is great and all, and even though I love Pulp Fiction as a film, it feels a bit forced. Like, Quentin Tarantino was trying to make the next favourite film. While Snatch is simply a unique story told with a great deal of style, it never feels forced and it feels just right.

Come on haters, bring forth the hate replies!

I am a huge QT fan...but the fact that he's American is completely irrelevant.
