No one, and it seems everyone in action movie world, has successfully repeated the amazing shoot in Sherlock Holmes, Game of Shadows, where the team is running through the woods, explosions going off everywhere, slow mo flash shots, it's an incredible scene. They can't get the flash shots right, they appear elsewhere in the film, and I was reading an interview in Variety with Brad Pitt, a friend of course of Ritchie's, when the phone rings and wisely, the interviewer wrote down what he heard:
Brad asks hey, how did you do that? The scene with the explosions, etc.?
He makes as many movies as he's in.
Guy answers well, something's you just have to keep in your little bag of tricks
And doesn't tell.
I've seen them try and duplicate it in several movies, Gangster Squad, so many, and badly is not the same as copying, no one has figured it out!
Say what you will, he's England's Boy Wonder, interrupted by a bad marriage, and now he's back making great films.
