Where is the Guy Ritchie we all know?!?

Seriously, Snatch, Lock Stock, and Rocknrolla are amazing, how come he hasn't done any movies similar since 2008??

I know he was attached to the Sherlock Holmes movies, but I'm yearning for another classic Guy Ritchie movie filled with crime, drama, humor, wit, originality that came with his 3 staples.

I could understand the Sherlock Holmes films too. they were a big chance for him to go mainstream and he was undoubtedly responsible for a great deal of their popularity. However, seeing that he now has a King Arthur movie in the works makes me think he's not going to be showing his face again in anyway that really matters for some time if again at all. He can't add signature flare to "A feature film of the classical story" or to another mainstream movie in general.

As someone who has wanted little more than The Real Rock'n'Rolla I'm incredibly disappointed that he hasn't used his new found popularity and name recognition to come out with something new with substance. I mean, King Arthur, really? Maybe that story holds more weight in the U.K. but that's all the more reason to give it a pass. Maybe someone with more inclination can see how well such stories have done in the past boxoffice wise.

It was fun while it lasted? I'll see the next sherlock film if that happens but other than that I certainly wont be excited for anything guy ritchie unless it's a guy ritchie original most likely.

He sold out, amazing because guy had talent

One day he may wake up realize, but will be too late

Now hes a studio director for hire, awful

He was going to make a film called The Gamekeeper, all these good projects gone to waste

I'm sure he'll go back to those films eventually (I hope anyways). He still young enough for a director

I loved his early films, but then he married Madonna, and she infected him with her Cabala crap, and "Swept Away" and "Revolver" resulted. He got back to form doing what he does best..straight forward crime thrillers..with "Rockarolls" but then for some reason, he decided to sell out and made Hollywood style crap like "Sherlock Holmes" (I love the Conan Doyle Holmes, but that is not whay Ritchie gave us) and ,frankly, I think he is a bad choice for a medieval epic like "King Arthur".

Lock Stock & Snatch were great, if not essentially the same movie, but Swept Away and Revolver were awful and RocknRolla was not all that. The Sherlock movies, while fairly bland were held together by the chemistry of the two leads and the dialogue.

I haven't seen Man from Uncle but I don't think GR needs to retread the Lock Stock territory again.

hmmm  - How true!

Guy is hot in lots of those roles - and more - but now they cast him in all of those worthless horrid scripts - with overly excessive unprofessional direction - and totally amateurish cinematography.

C'mon already, Hollywood! - Guy is very hot - and needs some decent roles for a change! - True that his mixup with Madonna Louise turned him into a major big time Himbo - who has been rolling down the gutter ever since - but give this guy a break - and cast him in something watchable for a change!

Sure he could always go to the clinic to get cured of stuff - but Hollywood is so dreadfully bad after the code - that nothing's worth watching even WITH Guy - because he's even stuck with sickening characters in demented scripts - who need to get to the clinic big time fast, right?

 Mellow Salutations!
