Or as it is going to be called The Real RocknRolla, will it ever happen, I mean Guy hasn't written anything for a while and has only been focusing on the Holmes movies. Not to mention that he would have to work around Butler and Tom Hardy's schedules not that they are A listers. Will it happen?

shareI was wondering the same thing. That's why I came to this board today. I just watched Tom Hardy in This Means War and for some reason I started thinking about RocknRolla. I really hope it happens. I was kind of hoping it would be a triloy like the Ocean's movie (my favorite trilogy).
And Tom Hardy would have the schedule problems because he is staring in hit movies. GB has been in flops lately. Hasn't really been in anything good since, Law Abiding Citizen IMO.

Unfortunately I have read some articles some time after I posted that, and the consensus seems to be because RocknRolla didn't make tons of money( although it recuped it's budget) no studios want to give it financial backing as of now, but I do hope they come around.

its been forever that ive seen rocknrolla. i dont really remember what its about. i only remembr that i loved it and that it had some kind of open ending. even then when it came out ppl said that there was going to be a sequel for sure. especially because of the ending.
man i hate it when this happens. god damn studio bosses.
So have I!!! This movie has to happen surely! Last I read was that since RocknRolla didn't do "well" at the box office they scrapped immediate plans to make a sequel.. It was such a quality film though!
I hope they do make a follow up to the first one.
