Golden Globes: Ryan Reynolds vs Ryan Gosling

The nominees of the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards have come off as a surprise to many, most notably in the Comedy/Musical category where "Deadpool" has become the first comic book superhero film in years to receive not only one but two nominations. As a breakthrough is made; Ryan Reynolds, the sharp and sweet Canadian star who brought the Merc with a Mouth to life onscreen has also finally received recognition for his performance after years of hardwork in the industry. On the other hand, the beautifully filmed musical "La La Land", sweeps the floop with a whopping amount of 7 nominations and widespread acclaim from the critics. Reynolds' namesake Ryan Gosling, who's also from Canada, is up for an acting nod likewise and predicted to win by many.
