Walker Stalker-General Admission

I got ticket to the Atlanta Walker Stalker this year and was wondering of any of you have gotten an autograph from a Walker Stalker for Norman Reedus using the general admission line and how long did it take you? I know I will be waiting a long time and will need to get there crazy early. Most of the stuff I have read said they waited for 3-4 just for VIP. I just want to know if I will even get a chance to see him using general admission. Thanks for the reply!

Hi! I attended WSC Atlanta 2016 with a VIP pass. To be honest, I'm not sure you'll be able to meet him with a GA ticket. Here's my experience: by the time we got into Norman's line, there were about 50 other VIP people ahead of us. I've attended other cons & met Norman on a few other occasions so I was anticipating waiting a couple hours but we were in line for over 10. I spoke with some volunteers after the con and apparently the line control team is supposed to let 4 Platinum holders through, then 3 Gold, 2 VIP, and 1 GA. In theory, that would mean all the lines are constantly moving. That being said, Platinum gets absolute front of the line so I don't think they wait for anyone to go ahead of them and they can come back and get back in line immediately afterwards. Despite WSC saying that there are very limited quantities of Platinum & VIP passes, it seems a lot of people get them. Our movement in line was very consistent: every hour we look about 3-5 steps. By noon we heard that they had cut off his line, not just for GA but for VIP as well so the only people getting in who weren't already in line were Gold & Platinum pass holders. And we STILL waited 7 hours at that point.
I had heard horror stories about the lines at WSC and unfortunately they weren't exaggerated. Now, to be fair, this was Saturday. Maybe Sunday was better. I hope it works out for you! However, if you are located close to a different Con that he's scheduled to attend, I would recommend going to that one instead.

Thank you for the reply. I heard his line is a nightmare and waiting line is 4-8 hours. I've decided to get a VIP Regular Pass and hope for the best. I can't justify spending $800-$1200 just to meet Norman. I heard Saturday is the worse but lots of times Sunday is just available to VIP's and sometimes it's just the gold or plantinum VIP. Sadly there are no celeb VIP's this year, I could justify at $400 pass for him. I live about 4 hours from Atlanta, I would much rather go to a wizard world con for him but they are out of state. Were you a VIP regular ticket holder?

Yes, I had a regular VIP Pass. That's good enough for you to move quickly through the lines for most of the guests but Norman you'll be standing in line all day so try to see as many people as possible on Friday if you're wanting to meet others. JDM, Michael, Steven, Josh - pretty much the entire current cast - all have crazy long lines too. My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. Good luck!
