Wow, now she's playing the mother of a teenager?

Have seen the commercials for the new show I Hate my Teenage Daughter, where Jaime plays one of the mothers. Feels like Jaime's career just skipped ahead like a decade.

I didn't watch My Name is Earl and don't know what age she was playing on it, but it doesn't seem like it was all that long ago that Jaime was playing the hot, young thing herself. Not Another Teen Movie is only 10 years old! (granted, part of the joke in that movie was that some of the characters looked older than high schoolers, but still...)

Jaime Pressly is 34 years old, she could easily be the mother of a teenager (EVEN if she got pregnant at not a very scandalous age!).

Imagine this, if she had gotten pregnant at 20 years old, today she would have a 14 years old daughter, at 18 years old, she would have a 16 years old.

I do not believe it is unrealistic at all, quite the opposite.

Deprogram and Mr_Joekzalott said it better than I could - it's not that it's biologically impossible for her to have a teenage daughter, it's just weird to see Jaime Pressly playing this character.

Yes it can happen at all

I think her playing the mother of a teenager, around her own age is more realistic than her playing a teen ever was. ;) No offense to her. I think she's a good actress.

Her character on "My Name Is Earl" is supposed to be in her twenties, which she was at the time that she made the show. I didn't think it was weird that she played the mother of a teenager. My niece, who just turned 36, has FOUR teenaged children.

And if said 16 year old had a baby she'd be a grandmother. lol

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.
