She was good in early films...

A League of Their Own

Sleepless in Seattle...

She seemed to find a niche in films to be entertaining and successful.

She is just some bitter, far leftist extremist now. She seems miserable and full of hate.
She kind of became a political absolutist.

Very hot back then.

I thought she was hilarious as Doris in "A League of Their Own". She was a natural actress. I don't know why she allowed politics to derail her career.

Most people can’t remember this far back pj. But there was also a time when Rosie O’Dumbbell was (gasp) not all that bad looking :D

I never remember her being talented, funny, or good looking. She's always seemed like an annoying loudmouth to me.

Don’t disagree with anything that you’ve said. But if you go back far enough, there was a time when she was kinda just “okay looking”.

I'll take your word for it. But I'm not going to go searching GOOGLE IMAGES, because in the likely event that photos are listed newest-first, I might lose my lunch viewing her most recent non-glamour photos.

It was because she was [and still is] gay, and she apparently made someone higher up in Hollyweird angry enough at her to have her outed in public back in the mid-90s, which killed her acting career and caused her to be mostly blacklisted.

She got power mad with her talk show and then they showed her the door and she basically went insane.
