On "Jeopardy" she was cold, smug and bitter

Did anyone else notice? She was humorless. No personality or warmth, and the charity she picked - some unknown, "global" something-or-other aids charity. She is the "chairman" of the youth aids division, she said. Vince Gilligan picked The Boys and Girls Club and Neil Flynn chose "The Children's Miracle Network". Those two guys outshone Debra Messing by miles.

When Trebek asked her what made her most proud regarding "Will & Grace" she said it was the politics and social issues they addressed. I guess she didn't notice that they mocked everything and played it ALL for laugh. Debra needs to stop taking herself so seriously.

I thought she was very nice and well composed. I really enjoyed her presence.

I agree. I loved Will & Grace but obviously (from my profile name) I much preferred Karen over Grace. Still, the show was fabulous and Messing was good on it but she seems to get more and more annoying as time passes post W & G. I hated her hammy over-acting when she guested on an episode of Law & Order: SVU, I think that same bad acting makes her the only bad/worst part of Mysteries of Laura (the writing, rest of the cast are great yet she - the title character/star - is the sole blemish on the show!) and her appearance on Jeopardy! just made her seem SOOO unlikeable (and I'm assuming her 'personality' on the show was most representative of the 'real' her). Thoroughly disappointed.

I dont understand this. I saw that episode of Jeopardy and in no way was Debra Messing unlikable, bitter, or cold.
