Imdb protects his Scientology?

I've tried to add the fact that he is a Scientologist to his bio a number of times over the years. Imdb has never allowed those facts to be known, why? If it's an important aspect of his life and he's discussed it in interviews, then why won't they allow it to under his bio? I just think people ought to know that this guy is a member of a cult that practices intolerance.

Yeah that Paul Haggis thing was a surprise do to the fact that he made one of the most overtly Scientologist films.

scientology is considered his own personal belief, his religion, if imdb puts it up here they would have to put up the religion of other actors as well

They often do, I've often seen it under bios whether it's talking about Amy Adams being Mormon, Martin Scorsese having a Catholic background, Kubrick having a Jewish backgroud or Bergman coming from a Protestant background.

Yeah, but those are legitimate Religions that have been around for centuries, where as Scientology is a product of the 20th Century, where it seems only the wealthy can join, because of all the fee - for - services they offer. "The organization is considered a commercial enterprise in Switzerland, a cult (secte) in France and Chile, and a non-profit in Norway, and its legal classification is often a point of contention", according to Wikipedia.

The actors have a right to accept or deny edits to their profiles. That being said, after today he is not hiding it.

In fact, if you don't like his cult, he will hurl anthemas at you. Very spiritual higher being that he is.
