Scientologist - Cult Alert!

This person is a member of the Cult of Scientology!

This cult was started in the 1950s by a science fiction writer named L. Ron Hubbard, a pathological liar and a fraud consumed by greed and paranoia, in fulfilment to his declared aim to start a religion to make money.

This is a vicious and dangerous cult that masquerades as a religion. Its purpose is to make money. It practices a variety of mind-control techniques on people lured into its midst to gain control over their money and their lives. Its aim is to take from them every penny that they have and can ever borrow and to also enslave them to further its wicked ends.

It is a confused concoction of crackpot, dangerously applied psychotherapy, oversimplified, idiotic and inapplicable rules and ideas and science-fiction drivel that is presented to its members (at the "advanced" levels) as profound spiritual truth.

Watching his movies means that part of your money will fund the illegal and abusive activities of the cult. Search the web for more information.

I am not saying you are wrong, but Hubbard did have some things to say that psychologist use in a therapeutic setting, though they are just some ideas. They do not try to convert anyone, the therapists.

One question, don't many Christian conservative groups and ministers do the same thing? Have you ever heard of Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Jones, John Hagey and other crackpot ministers who are always asking for money? And not from people who have a lot of it, but from old people and poor people. Would those also be considered a "cult?"

The definition of a cult is so close to religion I can't tell them apart.

Lifelong atheist. (We are all born atheist.)

"When it comes to money, we're all of the same religion"
