Wow that's terrible. He's one of the few people who is literally important to the automotive industry for his restorations, history on mechanical engineering of automotive vehicles, and preserving a lot of classic cars.

I fear that when he passes a lot of everything he's cataloged will be lost to time. Thankfully his YouTube channel provides a wealth of information for those who would like to be informed about a lot of automotive history you just literally will not learn anywhere else.

1909 Steam Car that needs a match spark in order to start it. Apparently gas got sprayed on his face and he suffered somewhat serious burns on the left side of his face. Hope he's okay, I enjoy his car videos.

Good odds that things are worse than we think. If he was trapped under a burning car and his face was burned, that probably means he inhaled superheated air full of toxic smoke. That means damage to the lungs that may not be curable.

I told you the same thing about Anne Heche.

They certainly make it sound peachy-keen!

But if he's not on a ventilator, things are probably as good as can be hoped, not that they let me see anything above the shoulder. Maybe they've got him up and walking while on a ventilator, that happens these days.
