Trying to do the math?

I was born late 69 he was born in early 70. I graduated high school in 88 with ppl our same age and younger. He dropped out of high school to become a professional skate boarder and retired after 7 years in 1996. Unless he was held back a year and/or quit with just months to go that doesn't add up.

Professional skateboarder. Retired from skateboarding in 1996 after being pro for 7 years.
