2 Oscar wins before 30..

Normally actors go by harsher times to start to be oscar(or awards in general) nominated\winners than actresses.
But with Heath that wasn´t the case because before he was 30 he had 1 oscar win for portraying the Joker and also came really close to won for Brokeback Moutain.
What are the other actors from Heath´s generation that in your opinions that had this premature achievment(at least 2 Oscar-Worthy perfomances before 30 and for what roles)

The first one that comes to mind is Hilary Swank, who won for Boys Don't Cry at the age of 25 and Million Dollar Baby at 30.

How about Jennifer Lawrence.

....so this whole thread is bogus. No oscars before thirty. Bbm was an awful film. His accent was cringe worthy on top of that.

She's only won one time for Silver Linnings Playbook.

Off the top of my mind... Travolta, probably. Should have won for Saturday Night Fever (was nom'd) and gave another two Oscar-worthy, iconic performances in both "Grease" and "Blow Out", showing some huge range.

But even more, I'd point out Haley Joel Osment, who could have won probably two Oscars before being 15, with "The Sixth Sense" (nominated) and "Artificial Intelligence". Quvenzahe Wallis was nominated for an Oscar for "Beasts of the Southern Wild", and then for a Golden Globe for "Annie", which is quite noticeable too... and I think she made it before being 11?

But Jennifer Lawrence beats them all, she could have already 4 Oscars if would have been lucky. Still, voters tend to go for younger women and elder men, when voting. I think there's the notion that men tend to have longer, more successful careers while women's careers burn too easily due to the always present demand of sexy hot, young actresses and the lack of starring roles for women over 40.

not the same generation, but Jodie FOster has two Oscar wins before she turned 30.

He only won one Oscar. Nominated twice. Or three times.

He should have won the Oscar over Hoffman. Hoffman's Capote and that movie are so overrated. But the Academy and the pretentious award show voters almost always gives the Oscar for a body of work over a performance. Which is bullshit and defeats the entire point. It's not a lifetime achievement award.
