She was a familiar face in the 90s and early 00s, but now I can't name her most recent thing.

She has done fairly regular acting since a few years after CSI: NY ended. I saw her on The Resident a couple years ago.

Doesn't mean she was the lead. For example: This woman https://m.imdb.com/name/nm1131118/?ref_=fn_al_nm_0 is billed 5th in the Seinfeld cast. Is she in it a lot?

She was actually the main antagonist for the first season in The Resident. Actually played a fairly good villain.

I don't think she was actually that big in the 90's. She just had the big break out with Providence. It was meant to be a limited run mid-season replacement and she managed to get it noticed and turned into a successful series.

Well, I have always considered her a poor woman's Amy Brenneman.
