So ... she's not getting many new parts anymore ?

Seems like her career has cooled down. 

Probably because she is not a very good actress. She has the same mannerisms for every character she plays!

reply

I do not think that she is a bad actress but she has now two children...

But she's really cute. Even when being old.

reply

Yes, she is.. and she is not that old!!

Could say the same for Sarah Michelle Gellar and especially Nicholas Brendon. At least they'll always have Buffy.

90% of Hollywood actors have a 5-8 year career span. The rarity are the ones who span decades, and usually those are mega stars who resort to lesser roles just to keep the paychecks coming. Look at what Robert De Niro or Al Pacino has been doing for the last 20 years. Their resumes over that time are full of garbage, with a few exceptions.

reply

As you say, there are exceptions such as Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep Robert De Niro or even Rovert Downey Junior. But in this case (Hannigan), do you think that she just does not get any reasonable cast anymore or she just not needs it anymore?

reply

She did just get done with How I Met Your Mother a couple years ago, and it's possible she'll get another tv series. Her days in movies are past her, and she was never big enough to get bullshit roles like Dirty Grandpa where his name was the appeal. Even Harrison Ford hasn't done much in decades, besides only recently reprising roles that originally made him famous. Streep is a perfect example of the exception. She's stayed steady for 30 years. RDJ made a return to form, but so did Travolta after pulp fiction, and what's he done in the last 8-10 years?
