I don't get it

This guy has more love on the boards than almost any actor I've seen.. Especially weird considering how negatively-skewed IMDB is in general on posts...

Am I alone in not being able to stand this guy or understand people's love of him? He basically plays the same roll every movie (overly intense, unstable damaged guy), and I find that role incredibly irritating. I don't even think he is that good as it, overacts and depresses me.

I am with you; I came on his board to say the same thing. I'm currently re-watching Six Feet Under, and there he is, playing another misunderstood, angst-ridden character, this time an art student. I can't fvcking take his voice, either.
