very sad to hear about her death, I remember her from the movie "Edward Scissorhands" where she plays one of the neighbors, she was definitely one of the better neighbors in the movie.

I know she's done a lot of work since Network in '76, but I always called her the "crusty but benign woman" whenever I saw her based on her witty scene with Faye Dunaway pitching ideas for the new fall season. She's amused me in other roles over the years. Requiescat in pace, Conchata.

She was a great character actress in so many films. I remember her most as the owner and chef at Mystic Pizza.

I didn't know she was that old. I thiught she was about 50.

Sad times. RIP
