He's just cringe now

His music style has never evolved even after 20 years and he's still bringing up beef he had with other rappers back then in his music today. The due is almost 50 and still trying to put on this angry tough guy act and it's just embarassing.

reply

He still sells though.

Rappers have a tendency to hold beefs and never grow up. If it was about age most wouldve let go by their teens.

reply

Most don't as long as he does. And yeah he still puts out numbers because his fans are a cult and don't listen to anything other than him.

reply

You gotta study rap a lot more. 50 holds grudges decades old, cash money, Death Row... it’s a competitive nature.

Dont hate on the man for stacking paper.

reply

50 hasn't been relevant in over a decade either.

reply

So has rap.

My point isnt relevancy.
It’s beef in da game.

reply

Is he 50 now?

He should do that Jon Bovi look.

Let that grey hair grow out.

3 pounds of grey hair and rap.

I would love to see him rub his beer belly in skinny jeans.

To bad TRL isn't around anymore :(

reply

I know.

Mtv totally sold out it’s generations along with everybody else.

Now it’s tic-toks and facebooks!

I wouldn't say he's cringe but he's certainly not as good as he used to be. He fell off after Marshal Mathers LP 2, which was his last genuine great album in my opinion as well as a few singles he released after such as Guts Over Fear and Phenomenal, but almost everything after that was just a miss for the most part. Almost everything from the production to his flow just went downhill and I hate to say stuff like this because he's actually my favorite artist of all time and I am a huge fan of his, and I mean huge! But I seriously just wished he went back to his older style or he should just retire.

reply

He’s been cringe for a while now. He was an excellent musician before 2004. Since then, he hasn’t been the same

reply

Well that's just realistic. As much as you may not like it, most people in this world never change certain things about themselves. Regular people, celebs, whoever, and why should they? because they turned 50? fuck that. People are going to say and do whatever they want. Especially when they have the kind of freedom with their careers like a famous rapper does.

You should ask yourself, if you were Eminem would you give a shit about someone bashing you on the internet over your choices because you're 50 now? doubtful.
