He is the poor man's Nicolas Cage.

Both are Oscar winners, both are unconventional looking and both have taken a big career slump! the only difference is that Cage can get away with action films roles like Con-Air, Face Off and The Rock and be convincing and a success, were Brody can't because he doesn't really look like a tough guy.

Also Cage is a better actor, Brody is trash

Cage.. a better actor.. ha..ha..hahaha

The dude suck and he got away with those cheesy flicks not because he looked tough but because it was in the 90s. Cage is a farce now, Adrien Brody is not amazing but he got more skills than Cage ever dreamed.

To be fair, they're both good actors---I don't see why one has got to be put down over the other. All actors go through a slump at some point, that's the nature of show biz. They're both still working after a couple of decades in the biz, and that's what's important. And no, Brody's not the poor man's anybody---he's his own unique self, period.

Cage has a far superior film resume, and over a much longer span of his career. Beginning in 1982 (small part in Fast Times At Ridgemont High) to 2005 with Lord of War, Cage was in a whole bunch of films that were at the least entertaining, and quite often well above average in quality. Cage also demonstrated surprising versatility over that time period, doing serious drama, comedy, and action films.
