So, who helped Wes to get out of drugs?

I've seen interviews where he says someone inspired him to turn his life around, while filming There Be Dragons. Anyone knows who this person may be? As a big fan of Wes, im very curious.

Yes, but he prefer it private as it was someone who is sober themselves. I suspect if either of them wanted to tell, they would have. But it is an amazing story nonetheless. Go Wes!
