Noah?? Not the one from the Bible!

Mr Aronofsky:

When a writer takes on the task of telling the story of an Historic figure such as Noah, you would think that the writer would have the common decency to actually read the text from where the historic figure comes from. Your story is nothing but a falsification and blatant lies and distortion of the truth! Fiction indeed! First Off, Noah was told by God what he was doing and that he would live on to "reboot" mankind. Noah and his wife and his three sons and their wives entered the Ark! Tubal Cain did not survive the flood! you should be ashamed! The lies we tell will haunt us all! Read Genesis 1-10! And please do not mislead people with your fantasy!

You realize that the story of Noah comes from different sources, right? You're just ignorant like many haters of this film. Move along people.

If he stuck to the text, the film would be 10 minutes long.
Besides the story of Noah is fiction, who cares if he embellishes it?

Historic figure ... lol. You really need to read a science book my friend.

The filmmakers said it was not supposed to be the exact same Noah from the Bible. Other religions have stories about Noah too, you know. The Qur'an has an entire chapter about his story, for example.

There are a couple schools of thought when it comes to dealing with creationists who think God exist, the bible is fact, and the flood of Noah happened.

The first school of thought it so try and ask thoughtful questions of the person to try and get them to explore their own belief system, in an attempts to get them to think.

The second school of thought, which is what I'm about to do here, is to shame and laugh at them publicly .

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA. You are a complete and utter moron. While you are at it, go to every Santa Claus movie ever made and yell at them for not being true to the 'real' story.

And for the record, clearly Aronofsky read more of the bible than you have.

I am fine with the Noah as portrayed in that "Noah" film... he seemed real, for a change.

The Qur'an has an entire chapter about his story, for example.
And Noah was a Muslim?

How dare a film director create a movie that misleads "people with your fantasy!" Isn't that what a movie is all about?

Considering the flood is a myth, who in their right mind can blame Aronofsky for playing with that myth? It cannot have happened, so why are you calling Noah 'an Historic figure?' He reinterpreted the myth in a different way, dramatically. That's all.
