Most hated

She's on top of the "most hated" people polls in the world.
I can agree with that, I don't like her.
But I'm also sure there's plenty of people that disagree.
So, how do they measure these rankings?

My guess is that it's just a shitty journalist's opinion disguised as a fact.
I just don't get how they get away with some public trolling like that.

EDIT:
I think most people here totally misunderstood my OP:
I was asking how the hell do these journalists get away with putting her on top of the "hated ranking".
How the hell do they measure that?
How do they get away with trolling her like that?

I have been reading about how unlikable she is for a while now. I have seen her briefly in a couple of interviews/talk shows and she does come across as kind of fake, but as far as her acting goes I have enjoyed her in everything I have seen her in.

reply

She was involved in the worst "adaptation" of Alice In Wonderland in cinema history. Everyone in and behind that movie deserves to be on that list.

reply

Couldn’t disagree more. Her White Queen, with the delicious twinkle in her eye, was one of the highlights of the film, which I thought was great fun—and so did all of my custom home theater clients, for whose proposed systems I used the movie as demo material.

reply

She farts on set, shouts out that she is "outrageous" she also lost the good bucket and had a local Arby's shut down for not making a big deal about her

reply

I don't believe any of this.

reply

Why not

reply

Just sounds like nonsense. Nothing personal. Lost the good bucket? Shut down an Arby's? It all sound silly and far-fetched.

reply

She was upset at Arby’s . She was confrontational with Arby’s management

reply

Maybe yes, maybe no. Why would she eat at an Arby's and why would she make a fuss? I once read Cameron Diaz said Taco Bell isn't even food, but I don't think she went so far as to go to one and cause trouble. But what do I know?

reply

Because she likes the food and was angry

reply

Thanks. Sounds like you were there and I was not.

reply

No I heard about it in the tabloids

reply

i don't dislike her

reply

I don't hate her, but she is , for me, one of the most confoundingly popular film actors. Her performances are very mannered, overly-poised and theatrical IMHO. That works well for musical theatre (although not, I feel, for Les Misérables, Oscar or not, seeing that she was supposed to be playing a homeless, impoverished victim of abuse and abandonment), but not for more realistic and authentic stories and characters. In that respect she reminds me a lot of Julie Andrews, who, of course, played her grandmother in The Princess Diary films. In fact, it's surprising that Emily Blunt, and not Hathaway, was cast as Poppins in the recent sequel.

reply

That foot toilet thing too

I choose to be uncertain about that, on principle...

reply

We were just talking about this on GD. Journalists are lazy and are very prone to groupthink.

reply

Groupthink is one thing. This public gangrape of her image is another thing. It's illegal.
You can't publish an article saying that Tom Cruise is gay or he's gonna sue you up the ass.
Why can you publish crap like this and get away with it instead?

And I don't like her at all, I'm just fighting for justice here, like He-man saving Skeletor in every episode.

reply

TOM CRUISE BEING GAY AND ANNE HATHAWAY BEING DISLIKED ARE VERY DIFFERENT STORIES AND THUS CARRY VERY DIFFERENT REPRECUSSIONS.

reply

Justice has a new champion: Heisenberg!

reply

Here I come to save the daaaayyy...

reply

Because of her Instagram post. Worthless mind controlled liberal hollywood puppet.
