Why did she cut her hair so short?

She looks better with long hair but at least she grew it out. Also, does she know she has the exact same name as William Shakespeare's wife?

reply

I always thought she was the next doe-eyed “Natalie Wood” type.

But the look is better with shoulder length to long hair:

Agreed..... That pixie look just doesn't look good on anybody.

Once in a long while, it looks cute, like Alice Cullen's hair in the first "Twilight" movie. But other than that, it makes most women look like men with boobs.

reply

Sorry, Anne, joining the Pixie Cut Club was a bad idea. You look much better with a minimum of shoulder-length hair. It didn't work for Snow White in "Once Upon A Time," it's not working for you either.

And yes, she is named for Shakespeare's wife, which makes me wonder if it's either a coincidence, or a stage name. She wouldn't be the first to use a historical woman's name in her line of work. Just ask Jane Seymour.

reply

Shakespeare's wife's middle name was Jacqueline?

reply

I just meant Anne's first and last names.

reply

Then it's not exact, is it?
Don't get mad, I'm only funnin' you.

reply

^ Nice pedantry Sir 👍

I generally don't prefer women to cut their hair short (see Kaley Cuoco), but I actually think Anne's face is so dazzling the short hair doesn't bother me. Plus it's gotta be so much easier to deal with. I'm a guy and I've been letting my hair grow lately. Takes longer to dry and I break a lot of hair brushing it after a shower. And my own hair is quite fine, so I imagine thick a/o wavy hair is worse.

reply

I don't like short hair one women, specially if they had beautiful long hair before but some look good either way. That being said I do agree that Anne looks much prettier with longer hair.

reply

She cut it short for an Oscar.

Who wouldnt?

reply

I don't understand. Why would Anne(or anyone really) cut their hair for an Oscar?

reply

She won an oscar for " Les Misrables", in a role that involved having her hair hacked off on-camera, and being seen in an unflattering crew cut afterwards.

I take it you haven't seen the movie?

reply

No, I haven't.

reply

It's pretty good, if you like historical musicals.

reply

She isn't the only one to change her appearance for a movie also. Lots of actors change their hair or even their whole body for a movie.

reply

I liked it short
