I'm really excited about this. I hope though that anne doesn't stick to TV after that..

I don't want to sound bitter because i am not but her going to television even for a miniseries is not a good sign for her career.Yes there has been a lot of movie stars going to TV lately but that's never a choice more of a necessity and not everyone will be able to restart their career like Matthew McConaughey.

CAREER! The word is CAREER! Speak any English?!

Must dash. I forgot to feed my wombat.

It's a miniseries. Even meryl Streep did angels in America. Nicole Kidman and Reese witherspoon will star in big little lies. Viola Davis with how to get away with murder. If the series are successful I don't think there will be a problem.

All those actresses you mentioned are 40+ and Hathaway is much younger and should be in her prime now not looking for ways to go back in the mainstream because is becoming obvious that that stupid hate thing on the internet has affected her career and that she can't get good roles in movies so she is moving to TV.

What an idiotic comment. Television offers some excellent writing for female characters, a lot more than films these days. It's good for actors to mix up the mediums they work in. It will also offer Anne a different pace, as TV usually films intensely for a short period of time.

Bradley Cooper and Scarlett Johansson also signed for TV shows. You think they're doing this to restart their career? Because I don't see anything wrong with their careers. As for McConaughey, he restarted his career years before than "True Detective" with doing all those "The Lincoln Lawyer", "Bernie", "Mud" and stuff.
